A sumptuous 4 course dinner, every course served with matching wines, a King Valley wine and its Italian equivalent, for you to compare. And decide who wins! Tutored by Pietro Demaio, author of Preserving the Italian Way, you will learn the mysteries of preserving the bounty of summer's harvest - perfect olives, eggplant, peppers - as well as the king of the sea- tuna. Many inclusions in the day - espresso coffee and Italian pastries to start the day, a lunch of local specialties, a signed copy of Pietro's book to take home, plus you will be amongst the privledged few to taste the fruits of Pietro's Head to Hoof Workshop held this July - salamis, proscuitto, pancetta, etc. .
